Late of Rockhampton.
Passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday 21 March 2025
after a short illness, following a severe fall the day after her 88th Birthday.
Daphne was the Beloved Wife of Arty (dec).
Much Loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Roslyn and Ken,
Kris and David, Jeffrey and Maureen, Heath and Donna.
Very Much-Loved Grandmother to
Cindy & Aaron, Blake and Brittany, Kelly and Chris,
Shaun, Sarah, Matthew & Connor and their partners.
Samantha and Liam, Lachlan and Aimee.
Great-grandmother to Felicity, Charlotte, Olive, Adelyn, Lennox, Will, Tom, Josh and Zac.
Daughter of James Lawn and Evelyn Merry (both dec).
Beloved Sister, Sister-in-law and Aunt to her family.
Special friend of Ray and Joy Covill, Gwen and Bruce (dec) McGregor,
Mary and Des Clarke.
Dear friend to many who knew her.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend
a funeral service for Daphne to be held in the
East Chapel of the Rockhampton Crematorium
this Saturday 29 March 2025, commencing at 3pm.

Please wear bright colourful attire,
we all know Daphne loved her clothes and looking very chic.
A special thank you for the care given to Daphne to the staff of
Catholic Care, Emergency Department and SAGE Unit
of the Rockhampton Hospital.
